Summer and winter, COYCH on the beach!
Winter Sailing School
Come and learn to sail on Europe’s most beautiful body of water, in a dynamic club with qualified and motivated instructors!
Our winter sailing school runs from the end of September to mid-June. Classes are given by our state-certified instructors. Nautical equipment is provided as well as life jackets. From the beginner’s course to the advanced course, with theoretical lessons, we propose to all publics to discover sailing.
Adults and teenagers
HC 16 (sport catamarans) adults
HC Dragoon (sport catamarans) teenagers
FC8 (8-metre houseboat) adults
Saturday morning from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
Operates from September to June except during school holidays
Fees: 475 euros for the year
Chlidren
Optimist Beginners, Wednesday morning from 9am to 12pm
Optimist Critérium, Saturday afternoon from 13h to 17h
Children with about one year’s practice, no more than 10 – 12 children
Fees: 228 euros for the school year
Competition
Optimist Competition, Wednesday and Saturday afternoon
8 to 15 years old, 9 children
Laser Competition, Wednesday and Saturday Afternoon (4.7, Radial and Standard)
Departmental Training Centre
From 14 years old, with a certified level of practice.
These fees include the annual licences of the Fédération Française de Voile and the membership fee for active members of the COYCH.

Summer Sailing School
The COYCH sailing school offers courses that will allow you to go wherever you want on the water with sufficient mastery of your boat.
Supervision on the water is provided by COYCH-qualified instructors (federal and state instructors) who also train our competition teams all year round on different supports.
These courses are based on a technical and pedagogical progression composed of exercises that will help you evaluate your progress and inform you of the difficulties to be overcome in order to progress better. Theoretical lessons are also given every day before and after the sea trips. At the end of the course, you will be given a national booklet, certifying the level acquired and valid in all French Sailing Schools.
Optimist
The undeniable optimist will lead the youngest to the discovery of sailing: rigging, manoeuvring, safety and the pleasure of sailing alone.
From 7 to 14 years old
First course: 155€
Second course: 130€
Hobie Cat Dragoon (catamaran)
The Hobie Cat Dragoon will allow young sailors to familiarise themselves with the specific manoeuvres of the catamaran while discovering the joys of gliding and trapeze.
From 10 to 15 years old
First course: 185€
Second course: 135€
Hobie Cat 16 (teenagers and adults)
The most widespread sport catamaran in the world, beginners and experienced sailors will share the same sensations of gliding and speed thanks to its double trapeze and banana hulls.
From 15 years old

Information
The ages mentioned are given as an indication, changes can be made by the instructors according to the trainee’s size.
The above rates include the COYCH membership fee but do not include the FFV licence, which is compulsory for the practice of sailing. For those who do not have a valid license, a “Ecole de Voile” license will be issued for 14€.

COYCH on the beach
The COYCH offers on the Ayguade site in Hyères a rental point / private lessons all summer long.
You will find Paddle, Kayak, Windsurfing, Foil and Catamaran.
Rentals
All our paddle rentals are accompanied by our instructors. The 3h and 5h rentals can be split into 3 x 1h and 5 x 1h.
